In the wake of the Capitol security breach, U.S. Representative Jackie Speier notes the irony of how thoroughly her car is searched when she drives onto Capitol grounds, yet how easily a mob of Trump supporters overwhelmed Capitol police.

Representative Jackie Speier has requested forming a commission to investigate the security breach at the Capitol and whether rioters had inside help, along with a secondary investigation to examine violent white-nationalist extremism.
