Senator McMorrow takes on the 22nd district of Michigan after discovering an attack email used for fundraising.

DHS tried to fight disinformation, it was sabotaged by right wing hate and disinformation. Woman who headed the effort has now resigned and they've abandoned the effort.

We cannot make ourselves small to accommodate hate and bigotry, thinking it will protect us. It hasn't. So what are we prepared to do to stay strong?

The Michigan state senator was accused of attempting to sexually groom and manipulate kindergarteners in a fundraising message to her supporters. Her speech results went viral.

Senator McMorrow is a mom who has been targeted for years for introducing bills that would protect my daughter from sexual molestation. She is willing to fight back for everybody who has been negatively affected by these attacks.

The messaging coming from the right is effective. How much more effective can we be fighting back against it aggressively?

I recently added Mom to my bio on Twitter because I noticed that as a mom, you are able to speak more aggressively about politics and family issues.

I ran for office after having a baby and I remember talking to a woman who said she couldn't vote for a mom for this job because she needed a full time senator.

Being quiet has never worked and speaking up is the act of  humanizing. As we share our stories with each other, we remember that we are humans.
